Twisted Alchemy’s juices are made to bring elevated flavor to any cocktail. When cocktailing with high-quality, premium, strong spirits, we know that the mixers and juices being used better be just as premium. We’ve collected our three favorite scotch cocktail recipes to show how Twisted Alchemy’s cold pressed, fresh juices bring dynamic flavors to even the most spirit-forward of cocktails.
The Penicillin:
4 thin slices of ginger, peeled and about 3/4 inch round
2 oz blended scotch
1 oz Twisted Alchemy 100% Eureka Lemon Cold Pressed Juice
¾ oz Twisted Alchemy Rich Demerara Syrup
½ oz single malt scotch
Lemon peel, for garnish
Instructions:
In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, muddle the ginger. Add ice to the shaker and add the blended scotch, lemon juice and demerara syrup. Shake well. Add one large ice cube to a lowball glass and strain over it. Top with single malt scotch. Garnish with lemon peel twist.
Blood and Sand Cocktail:
1 oz blended scotch
1 oz cherry liqueur
½ oz sweet vermouth
½ oz Twisted Alchemy 100% Blood Orange Cold Pressed Juice
Orange peel, for garnish
Instructions:
Add ice to a cocktail shaker and pour in the scotch, cherry liqueur, sweet vermouth, and blood orange juice. Shake well. Strain over one large ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel twist.
Scotch Sour:
2 oz blended scotch
1 oz Twisted Alchemy 100% Eureka Lemon Cold Pressed Juice
¾ ounce Twisted Alchemy Rich Simple Syrup
Lemon slice, for garnish
Instructions:
Add ice to a cocktail shaker and pour in the scotch, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well. Strain into a lowball glass over ice. Serve with a lemon wedge.
