Persian Lime Pie: Try This Elevated Twist On Key Lime Pie

Key Lime Pie is a classic dessert known for its tangy, sweet, and citrusy flavor. As the name suggests, this tangy treat is traditionally made with Key limes. However, these unique limes are difficult to come by, and can cost a fortune when a lucky baker stumbles across them. Fear not, adventurous baker! Key limes are not the only key to this iconic pie. Elevate and innovate this beloved recipe with a delicious twist by using Persian limes instead. Persian limes, with their bright green hue and gentle tartness, provide a unique flavor profile that works exceptionally well in this beloved dessert. To elevate your Persian Lime Pie, and save yourself a whole lot of time and energy, crack open your Twisted Alchemy's 100% Persian Lime Cold Pressed Juice, to add unparalleled freshness and zing to your recipe.

Ingredients:

1½ cups graham cracker crumbs

⅓ cup packed light brown sugar

4 tbsp unsalted butter

28 oz sweetened condensed milk

1 tbsp Persian lime zest

¾ cup Twisted Alchemy's 100% Persian Lime Cold Pressed Juice

Grated Persian lime zest and thin Persian lime slices, for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375 °F. Gather your ingredients. Combine graham cracker crumbs, light brown sugar, and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press the crumbs into a 9 x 1.5-inch pie pan, about ¼-inch thick. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, until it is very lightly browned.

Change the oven temperature to 350 °F. In a large bowl, beat together the sweetened condensed milk, yogurt, Persian lime zest, and Twisted Alchemy's 100% Persian Lime Cold Pressed Juice. The cold-pressed juice offers a vibrant lime essence that balances the sweetness of the condensed milk perfectly, creating a luscious, creamy filling. Add the mixture to the crust. Bake for 15 minutes until the mixture is almost set. As it bakes, the Persian lime-infused filling will set beautifully, creating a tantalizing texture and aroma that will make your kitchen smell heavenly. Cool for 30 minutes, and then chill in the refrigeration for 3 hours.

Once your Persian Lime Pie has cooled, you can add a dollop of whipped cream or a slice of lime for garnish, enhancing the presentation and flavor even further. The result is a refreshing, citrusy delight that captures the essence of Persian limes in every bite.
