When European explorers first encountered this tropical fruit in the Americas back in 1664, they called them “pineapples” due to their resemblance to pine cones. Pineapples offer a vibrant tropical flavor with both sweet and tart taste notes. Our pineapples are mostly from Costa Rica and offer a consistent sweetness level that we insist upon with a brightness that can not touch the current pineapple juices offered on the marketplace.
