Chicken Piccata with 100% Cold-Pressed Lemon Juice

You’ll Need:

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt & pepper to taste

½ cup all-purpose flour

3 Tbsp butter
-
2 Tbsp olive oil
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 Tbsp shallots, finely chopped

1½ cups chicken bone broth
-
2 oz Twisted Alchemy 100% Cold-Pressed Lemon Juice (about 4 Tbsp)

2 Tbsp capers
-
2 Tbsp heavy cream
Instructions:

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then lightly dredge in flour.

Heat 2 Tbsp butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Add 1 Tbsp butter to the same pan. Sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.

Pour in broth and simmer until reduced by half.

Stir in lemon juice, capers, and cream. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Return chicken to pan. Spoon sauce over top and warm through.
Serve with angel hair pasta, crusty bread, or over a light arugula salad for the perfect citrusy comfort meal.
