A Bright Twist on Chicken Piccata

Chicken Piccata with 100% Cold-Pressed Lemon Juice

Serves 4 | Time: 30 min

You’ll Need:

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 3 Tbsp butter

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 Tbsp shallots, finely chopped

  • 1½ cups chicken bone broth

  • 2 oz Twisted Alchemy 100% Cold-Pressed Lemon Juice (about 4 Tbsp)

  • 2 Tbsp capers

  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream

Instructions:

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then lightly dredge in flour.

  2. Heat 2 Tbsp butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. Add 1 Tbsp butter to the same pan. Sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.

  4. Pour in broth and simmer until reduced by half.

  5. Stir in lemon juice, capers, and cream. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.

  6. Return chicken to pan. Spoon sauce over top and warm through.

Serve with angel hair pasta, crusty bread, or over a light arugula salad for the perfect citrusy comfort meal.
