Pouring Pink: Twisted Alchemy Joins The Pink Agenda's Annual NYC Gala

This October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Twisted Alchemy is proud to be providing the juice behind the bar at The Pink Agenda's Annual New York City Gala. The Pink Agenda is a young professionals organization built around one clear purpose: raising funds for breast cancer research and support, and doing it through a community that shows up, year after year, to make the fight feel less like a solo one. We couldn't think of a better reason to put our Dragon Fruit Citrus Refresher juice to work.
The bar is in partnership with Speed Rack, the all-female competitive bartending organization that's raised millions for breast cancer charities since 2011. Both cocktails on the menu were developed by Lynnette Marrero, Speed Rack's co-founder and world-renowned, award-winning bartender, mixologist, and philanthropist based in New York City. She is widely recognized as a pioneer who has fundamentally reshaped the cocktail industry, particularly for women behind the bar.
Each is built around our Dragon Fruit Citrus Refresher, turning a glass the exact shade of pink that stands for compassion and hope for everyone this cause touches.
Pink Paloma | Twisted Alchemy
A paloma with a little more depth and a lot more color, finished with a salted rim for the bar-cart purists.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz blanco tequila
- 1 oz Twisted Alchemy Dragon Fruit CitrusRefresher
- 0.5 oz agave syrup, diluted 1:1 with water
- Club soda, to top
Instructions
- Combine the tequila, Dragon Fruit CitrusRefresher, and diluted agave syrup in a shaker with ice.
- Shake and strain into a salt-rimmed highball glass over fresh ice.
- Top with club soda.
Pink Dragon
A mocktail built for the part of the room that's driving home, sipping slowly, or just wants something that tastes as good as it looks.
Ingredients
- 3 oz Twisted Alchemy Dragon Fruit Citrus Refresher
- 0.5 oz Twisted Alchemy Passionfruit
- 0.25 oz simple syrup
Instructions
- Combine all three ingredients in a shaker with ice.
- Shake well and strain into a chilled glass over fresh ice.
