After meeting over a wheat-grass shot in the 90s, Twisted Alchemy co-founders Kim and Scott Holstein were destined for entrepreneurship. From gourmet pretzels to one-of-a-kind ice cream bars, they touched many audiences within the food industry. In 2016, they turned to cold-pressed juice. Twisted Alchemy cold-pressed juice has been improving the livelihood of bartenders and beverage directors in the craft bar industry for the last three years. Since inception, distribution efforts have been targeted towards superior quality, premium bar, restaurant, and hotel establishments in cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and beyond. After years of R&D and speaking with clients at rooftop bars and distilleries, it’s obvious that Twisted Alchemy cold-pressed juice is made for more than just busy bars and restaurants.
Growth and expansion are high priorities for the team at Twisted Alchemy, and expanding products into the homes of cocktail enthusiasts is also at the top of the to-do list. Starting with their home suburb of Wilmette, just north of Chicago, Kim and Scott’s Twisted Alchemy products are supplying delicious cocktails to guests of the Writer’s Theatre, students in cocktails classes at The Shack, and for the traveling bullet bar The Steel Bar.
